A Key institution for Timor-Leste’s Development.
IGEADI, I.P., officially the Institute for Equipment Management and Infrastructure Development Support, has been established to meet the critical needs of Timor-Leste, such as restore road traffic security and prevent floods through cleaning and normalising water supply. This institution represents a step forward in Timor-Leste’s commitment to sustainable infrastructure and improving public services.
Recent update to the IGE Statute
The status of the former IGE (Earth Management Institute) has been significantly modified. Articles 2, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 26, 27, 29 and 30, the network and 35, previously approved in the Annex to Decree-Law No. 11, of April 12, are reviewed to reflect the following updates:
Better supervision: IGEADI activities are now aligned under the supervision and supervision of the Minister of Public Works.
Organizational Review: updated to better define internal regulations and operational structure.
Asset Management: The initial asset of the institution is now clearly allocated under a joint direction from the Minister of Finance and Public Works, to ensure greater accountability and transparency.
Mission and Goals
Emergency intervention: meet the urgent infrastructure needs to improve functionalisation and security.
Community Support: Strengthen communities by maintaining important infrastructure such as roads and roads.
Strategic alignment: Collaborate with the Ministry of Public Works to achieve national development goals.
